Hannah was born and raised in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She proudly identifies as a “Double Tarheel” after attending the University of North Carolina for both her undergraduate and graduate degrees. Her experience working alongside young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through various organizations and initiatives in Chapel Hill has influenced her commitment to fostering speech, language, and communication as a means for meaningful connections. During her graduate clinical experiences, she recognized her passion for collaborating with children and families in their communication journeys. She is excited to be returning to Emerge’s Carrboro location after her clinical placement last spring!
