Jennifer Lane Lehr holds an M.S. in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a specialty in Birth to Five Child Language. She has over 25 years of experience providing speech/language/feeding services in the home, hospital, clinic, community and telepractice settings. She is a graduate of the Leadership Development Program of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and holds a certificate in Leadership in Health and Wellness from Duke University. Her interests include: serving children who are twice exceptional, emerging literacy practices, exercise as a therapeutic intervention, and effective therapy services for families and their young children. Jennifer is also a Certified Instructor for the Emerging Language and Literacy Curriculum at the University of Missouri at Columbia. In her free time, Jennifer serves as a board member for the Parkinson’s Foundation of the Carolinas and serves as a cancer patient advocate for two major university cancer centers. She enjoys running, kayaking, traveling, spending time with her husband Jim, and visiting her son who is currently a student at Appalachian State University.
