Joan comes to Emerge Pediatric Therapy with eight years of experience working as an office manager in an occupational therapy setting. She is a graduate of North Carolina Wesleyan College with a B.A. in Theater. She lives in Durham with her husband Alan. She has two children, John Alan and Virginia Gayle, who both attend Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Joan’s hobbies include sewing, embroidery and caring for her two dogs Lucy and Freedom.
