School-Based Pediatric Occupational & Speech Therapists:

  • Training or experience in SOS Feeding Approach, DIR/Floortime, and/or sensory integration
  • Motivated to grow a caseload
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to think on your feet
  • Strong documentation skills and ability to multi-task

This position is unique in that you would be an Emerge employee with full access to our diverse resources, therapeutic testing, and tool library, but you would be serving the school population. This position starts as hourly, with the possibility to transition to full-time and a great CEU funds package! You get the flexibility of a school schedule without the additional administrative work such as working carpool line, lunch duty, and IEP meetings. Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (Cary Location):

We are looking for that “just right fit” for our Cary Location.  Work experience in an outpatient pediatric therapy practice is a plus. A firm understanding of working with children with apraxia, AAC, reading, articulation, language deficits, Autism, behavioral challenges are a must.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Training or experience in SOS Feeding Approach, reading (with Orton Gilingham or LiPS), and/or PROMPT
  • Motivated to grow a caseload
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to think on your feet
  • Strong documentation skills and ability to multi-task
  • Motivated by numbers and bonuses

Pediatric Physical Therapist:

We are always looking for that “just right fit”!  If you feel like Emerge is the right place for you, we encourage you to submit your resume below. Experience in an outpatient pediatric therapy practice is a plus). A firm understanding of working with children with sensory processing differences, Autism, and behavioral challenges are a must.  This position would start out as part-time and would transition to full-time as the caseload grew.  Treatment would include in-clinic and virtual appointments.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Works well independently from other PTs(continued mentorship would be provided largely through a virtual format)
  • Strong interest in collaboration with the OT and ST departments
  • Motivated to grow a caseload
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to think on your feet

Client Relations Coordinator (No Current Position):

While we do not currently have a need for a client relations coordinator,  we always welcome those that fit into our company culture to apply.  ​ Some other job requirements and duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Scheduling clients
  • Developing and managing client charts and records
  • Requesting and monitoring scripts and insurance approvals
  • Directly calling clients and other service providers
  • Purchasing clinic supplies
  • Collecting and entering payments
  • Maintaining an orderly waiting room
  • Acting as a client satisfaction liaison
  • Tracking no-shows and handles attendance issues
  • Supporting therapy staff by entering reports into the Medicaid system
Therapist Duties and Responsibilities

Some of the duties and responsibilities for therapist positions include:

  • Maintain appropriate documentation per company standards
  • Provide high-quality evaluations and therapy sessions appropriately
  • Maintain excellent caregiver communication and relationships
  • Follow up with client and/or caregivers following evaluation to ensure understanding and recommendations via phone conversation or in person
  • Maintain the physical capacity to engage with highly active children throughout a workday
  • Be willing to participate in both clinic and community events (such as: parent education workshops, resource fairs, parent support groups, walks, expos, conferences, etc.)
  • Report stats, submit session charges, and complete paperwork in a timely manner
  • Contribute to content for blog/social media posts as appropriate
  • Assist with clinic maintenance, as needed
  • Participate in quarterly and annual reviews with thoughtful reflection and forward thinking towards goals for the next quarter and/or year
  • Participation in the Clinical Ladder in order to further develop personal and professional goals
