Kaufman Speech Language Protocol

Kaufman Speech Language ProtocolA method of practicing syllable shapes and word approximations to develop vocabulary and functional language.
The KSLP is based on principles of speech development. Therapy steps advance from production of simple syllable shapes to more complex consonant and vowel combinations in words. Additionally, the KSLP simultaneously targets development of syntax and grammar in speech and general expression in social language. The KSLP is designed to build vocabulary and language in children with severe articulation disorders, poor intelligibility and Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS).
