With so many great events happening both at Emerge and in our community, how will you keep track? Use our calendar to help discover all of the resources that Emerge and the Triangle have to offer.
Emerge hosts a variety of events at the clinic including therapist-led roundtables, parent education classes, resources fairs, and structured play-dates! This calendar will also keep our Emerge families up to date on the start of our social skills groups, and changes in our clinic operating hours.
In addition to what is happing at Emerge, you will also be able to find other activities and resources for parents and caregivers such as resource fairs, sensory-friendly nights, free family events and more!

October 4, 2024(1 event) 7:00 pm: Inclusive Halloween Fun Night – When: October 4th, 7:00 - 8:30 PM Where: The Building Abilities Center | 7025-5 Kit Creek Road, Morrisville What: Enjoy an evening of spooky fun, games and friends at the Building Abilities Center in the heart of RTP. Games • Dancing & Music • Light Refreshments • BINGO with prizes • Costumes (optional) This event is FREE for individuals 18 & up. This is an opportunity for individuals to socialize and make friends, while fostering independence in a fun and safe environment. We do ask participants who need one-on-one support to bring a family member or other care provider. This event is FREE, but registration is required. |

October 23, 2024(1 event) 3:00 pm: All Abilities Day - Phillip Farms – When: October 23rd, 3:00 - 6:30 PM Where: Phillips Farm | 6720 Good Hope Church Rd, Cary, NC 27519 What: Phillips Farm is hosting their All Abilities day, with fun rides, corn box, petting zoo, slides, and more! Admission for special needs children and one caregiver is FREE. Additional guests pay 1/2 price admission on this day only. Only special needs children and their families will be admitted in order to create a safe space for them to play and enjoy the fun park.

This event is FREE, but registration is required!
12:00 pm: Fall Inclusive Artist's Market – When: 12-4pm Where: Esteamed Coffee | 114 S. Academy Street, Cary, NC 27511 What: Esteamed Coffee is hosting a market to shop for art from up to twelve different vendors who identify as part of the disability community. Find original artwork, magnets, keychains, pottery, notecards, garden charms and more. Guests who arrive by 12:15 pm will enjoy a special treat - a performance by the Joyful Ringers, a handbell choir from GiGi's Playhouse! The market will be located in the lot to the right of the cafe. The coffee shop will also be open for you to enjoy a delicious drink, maybe even one from our festive fall menu!

1:00 pm: Sensory Friendly ComedyWorx Show – When: October 26th, 1-2pm Where: Museum of Life & Science | 433 W Murray Ave, Durham, NC 27704 What: ComedyWorx Raleigh is offering a sensory-friendly version of their family-friendly improv show!
