Abby was born and raised in South Central Pennsylvania, relocating to the Triangle area in 2021. She graduated in 2018 from the University of Pittsburgh with a BS in Natural Sciences. She then went on to receive her Master of Occupational Therapy degree from Temple University in Philadelphia. Prior to graduate school, Abby worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the University of Pennsylvania, performing clinical trials and neuroimaging for a gene therapy treatment for pediatric degenerative retinal disorders. While at Temple, she was able to complete clinical rotations in adult inpatient rehab, the school system, early intervention, community-based practice, skilled nursing, and adult outpatient pulmonary rehab. In her free time, Abby loves spending time with her husband and her dog Fiona, going to the beach, hiking, and trying new restaurants!
