  • Caela is originally from North Carolina and recently moved back from Arizona. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Sciences and her Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from East Carolina University. Caela has experience working across a variety of settings, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, preschools, homes, and private practice. She has experience working with children with ASD, Down Syndrome, fluency disorders, pediatric feeding, expressive/receptive language disorders, speech sound disorders, and complex communication needs. Her clinical interests include early intervention, gestalt language processing, pediatric feeding, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), with training in Language Acquisition through Motor Planning (LAMP), TouchChat, and Snap + Core First. She takes a child-led, neurodiversity-affirming approach to therapy and focuses on building meaningful relationships with children to support functional and authentic communication. Outside of work, Caela enjoys spending time near the water, reading, working out, and being with her husband and their two dogs.
