Crystal Wozniak, CF-SLP

Crystal graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a Certificate in Disability Rights and Services. She went on to complete her Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2025 and is currently completing her Clinical Fellowship.

During her undergraduate and graduate studies, Crystal was actively involved in research focused on the impact of poverty on child development, particularly how it influences early language exposure and development. This research experience continues to inform her clinical approach and commitment to evidence-based care.
Crystal has clinical experience evaluating and treating both children and adults across a variety of settings including outpatient clinics, private practices, and schools.

She has worked with individuals with a wide range of diagnoses including:

  • Articulation and Phonological Disorders
  • Receptive and Expressive Language Delays
  • Feeding and swallowing challenges
  • Social communication challenges
  • Aphasia
  • Stuttering
  • Childhood Apraxia of Speech
  • Down syndrome
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Pallister-Killian Syndrome
  • and those who use Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC).

Crystal is passionate about providing patient-centered therapy that is backed by current research and tailored to each individual’s needs. She values neurodiversity-affirming care and often incorporates play-based approaches into her sessions. She is especially dedicated to empowering individuals to advocate for themselves and their communication needs.

Crystal grew up in Stanley, Wisconsin, but now lives in Raleigh, North Carolina. In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball, being outdoors, swimming, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
