Originally from the UK, Dan has lived in North Carolina for over 20 years. She attended NCSU for her bachelor’s degree and received her master’s degree in occupational therapy from Sacred Heart University in Connecticut in 2023. Prior to becoming an OT, Dan enjoyed working with children in a variety of roles and settings including babysitting, tutoring, daycares, and outdoor summer camps. She also spent several years working in administration for a pediatric PT/OT/SLP clinic. Dan is passionate about using play and each child’s interests to both strengthen the therapeutic relationship and work on skill development. In her free time, Dan enjoys crafting, reading, traveling, and spending time with her family, friends, and pets.
