Originally from the Midwest, Emily received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Iowa State University. Emily later moved to North Carolina and received her Master of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from North Carolina Central University. During her clinical training, she worked in a public school, outpatient clinics, and community settings. Emily has worked with children ages birth to 16 years of age, as well as young adult and adult populations. Emily enjoys collaborating with families to understand their needs and goals to provide individualized treatment. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors (especially  gardening in the summer), live music, and spending quality time with friends and family!
