Grace grew up in North Carolina; she was born in Alamance County, then moved to Durham as an elementary student and put down strong roots here. She graduated from Durham School of the Arts in 2001, part of DSA’s second graduating class. Her specialty was violin, and she still occasionally brings it out to impress her nine-year-old daughter. Grace enjoyed many years in the service and hospitality industry at local favorites like Foster’s Market, Tyler’s Taproom, and the Washington Duke Inn while pursuing higher education at Durham Tech. She enjoys baking, reading, and spending time with her family.
