Laura has worked with children with craniofacial disorders, traumatic brain injury, fluency disorders, ASD, CAS, intellectual disabilities, speech-sound disorders, expressive/receptive language delays, and more.
Laura grew up in North Carolina and attended UNC-Chapel Hill for both her undergraduate and graduate education. Laura graduated with a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2018 and accepted a position with Emerge Pediatric Therapy beginning in June 2018. Laura enjoys working with children because it allows her to be flexible and creative when designing goals and therapy activities. Laura is highly committed to providing children from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of communication disorders access to the most current and effective evidence-based practices. In her free time, Laura enjoys traveling, baking, reading, and spending time with both her two cats (Ashe and Lexi) and her husband.
