Sam grew up in Ohio and moved to Cary, North Carolina in 2015. He attended Wake Technical Community College in Raleigh, North Carolina. As a student, Sam studied health science with a concentration in sterile processing. Sam worked as a barista trainer at Starbucks for seven years. Throughout his career at Starbucks, Sam enjoyed the opportunity to create meaningful relationships with the members of his community. Sam is excited to bring his passion for serving others to the Emerge team. Outside of work, Sam likes to spend time with his loved ones and pets. He also enjoys cooking, knitting, and taking trips to the beach.
