Tessa grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she became interested in occupational therapy after family members received OT services. She graduated with her Masters in Occupational Therapy from Saint Francis University in 2017. She then moved to Asheville, North Carolina in 2021 before starting at Emerge in 2024. Tessa has experience with school-based OT, as well as outpatient services, with training in the SOS Approach to Feeding, Interactive Metronome, and Handwriting Without Tears. In her free time, Tessa enjoys being outside with her dog Tucker, reading, trying new restaurants, watching sports, and spending time with friends and family.
