Zoey was born and raised in North Carolina. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise and Sports Science and Psychology. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at East Carolina University, where she completed an independent master’s thesis focused on engagement in children with autism spectrum disorder. Zoey is passionate about providing client-centered care to children, incorporating evidence-based research—and, of course, play! In her free time, she enjoys running, reading, exploring nature, and spending time with loved ones.
