About Us

Parenting is an incredible journey filled with surprises and challenges. While obstacles in your child’s development may arise, they offer opportunities for growth, learning, and advocacy. You possess the strength to overcome many of these challenges independently. However, it’s empowering to know that support is readily available when needed!

 

For over 20 years, Emerge Pediatric Therapy (formerly Emerge-A Child’s Place) has served the parents and children of the Triangle who have needed that extra support. So whether you need occupational, physical, or speech therapy, look no further than Emerge Pediatric Therapy.

Owner Brittni Winslow’s Vision and Mission:

Our organization is deeply committed to improving the lives of children and their families through customized occupational, speech and physical therapy. We not only work 1:1 with our clients, but we also empower the caregivers and community around the child in how to best support and create the best life for that client. We attract people within our organization that share in a passion for lifelong learning.  This results in a strong team of the most highly trained therapists in our area.

Insurance Information

We are an in-network provider for all Tricare insurance plans, NC Medicaid, and Managed Care (Amerihealth Caritas, Blue Cross Healthy Blue, Carolina Complete, United Healthcare Community Plan, and Wellcare). We bill these plans directly and collect any copayments, cost shares, and deductibles as needed.

We are out-of-network for private commercial insurance plans (Aetna, Armada Care, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, MediShare, Medcost, UMR, United Healthcare, etc.).

Payment is due at the time services are rendered for these insurances but we offer to complimentary file a claim on your behalf to your primary insurer to count towards any out-of-network benefits your plan may have.

We accept Class Wallet (ESA+ or Opportunity Scholarship) through NCSEAA.
