Prior to joining Emerge, Amanda spent three years working in a pediatric private practice in Rhode Island. She has experience supporting children with receptive and expressive language delays, articulation disorders, reading challenges, and Autism. Amanda is committed to providing individualized, child-centered therapy that incorporates play-based techniques and evidence-based practices to make learning both meaningful and engaging.

Amanda is a trained Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) clinician with an interest in identifying, supporting, and fostering functional communication for Gestalt Language Processors. She is passionate about helping children communicate in ways that are authentic, effective, and empowering.

Collaboration is at the heart of Amanda’s practice. She works closely with families, educators, occupational therapists, and other professionals to provide comprehensive, coordinated care that supports each child’s unique strengths and goals. Amanda is dedicated to building positive relationships and creating a supportive environment where children and their families can thrive.

When she’s not modeling functional gestalts, Amanda enjoys reading, attending sporting events, and baking.
