Becca is from Tallahassee, FL and moved to the Triangle area in 2020. She graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Family and Child Sciences with a minor in Developmental Disabilities from Florida State University. She always knew she wanted to work with kids but until moving to North Carolina, had not pursued Occupational Therapy. Becca graduated from Durham Technical Community College’s OTA program in May 2023 with clinical experience in a mental health setting, schools, skilled nursing facility, and at Emerge! Through her fieldwork experience she found her passion working in pediatric OT and providing care to kids and support to their families. One of her favorite things about occupational therapy is meeting the client where they’re at and making learning fun! In her free time, Becca enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and exploring new hobbies. Her hobbies include her plants, playing pickleball, rollerblading, and planning her next trip.
