Originally from Pennsylvania, Dana received her undergraduate degree in Communication Science and Disorders from the University of Pittsburgh. She then moved to Boston, where she earned her Masters of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the MGH Institute of Health Professions in 2016. Dana relocated to Raleigh, NC in 2019 to escape the cold and to be closer to her family. Prior to joining the Emerge team, Dana gained experience treating babies through young adults in schools, daycares, outpatient centers, homes, and through teletherapy. Dana has a passion for working with early communicators and she strongly believes that therapy should be fun, engaging, strengths-based, and family-centered. When she’s not working, Dana enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, playing tennis, and hiking with her dog, Enzo.
