Braelyn recently earned her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Duke University, where she was a member of the inaugural cohort. Prior to beginning OT school, she earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of South Carolina. Braelyn always knew that she wanted to work with children and solidified her love for pediatrics over the course of her clinical fieldwork experiences and her work as a Registered Behavior Technician in college. Most recently, Braelyn completed her 14-week doctoral capstone in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Duke University Hospital, where she discovered her passion for infants and their families. Whether working with infants, toddlers, children, or teens, Braelyn enjoys working with families to enable participation in the activities that they find most meaningful. In her free time, Braelyn enjoys spending time with her husband, baking, reading, and dancing!
