Mira is a Florida native who recently moved to North Carolina in July of 2020. She graduated with her Bachelors in Health Science, and a minor in Disabilities in Society from the University of Florida in 2016. After falling in love with the field of occupational therapy while volunteering at an outpatient pediatric rehabilitation clinic, she received her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of Florida in December of 2017. Prior to starting at Emerge, Mira worked in outpatient pediatric and school settings, as well as early intervention in home and daycare settings. She has experience working alongside physical therapists, speech therapists, psychologists, and ABA therapists as part of a multidisciplinary team. In her free time, Mira likes to spend time with her friends and family, travel, read, and hike with her dog.
