Wiz Kidz – Fall 2026
COLLABORATIVELY COMPLETE PUZZLES, EXPERIMENTS, GAMES & MORE TO SUPPORT EXECUTIVE FUNCTIONING, SOCIAL PROBLEM SOLVING AND COOPERATIVE SKILLS
for children 7-12 years old
This is a social program with a focus on problem-solving activities (brain-teasers, puzzles, experiments, games, etc.) Children will have the opportunity to work on skills related to executive functioning, self-regulation, social interaction, planning, and self-concept. Working towards a shared interest and goal helps motivate children to form strong friendships as well as learn to navigate peer negotiation.
Goals:
- Executive functioning skills related to planning, praxis, sequencing and organization
- Problem solving within a group context
- Tolerating challenges during project-based activities
- Cooperative play, teamwork and peer negotiation
Location: Cary
When: Tuesdays, 5:00 – 6:00 PM
Dates: September 22nd – December 11th (No clubs will meet the week of Thanksgiving)
Total Cost: $990

Children are expected to attend every session (barring illness), as the sessions build on each other and group dynamics are an important component. You will not be reimbursed for missed sessions.
